1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed through Nexo Connect is Ferrão Soluções. The dedicated contact address is privacy@ferraosolucoes.pt.

2. Data processed

Beta access request data, account and profile data, published content, messages, relationships between users, participation in communities and events, responses to opportunities, preferences, reports, activity logs, IP addresses and technical information required for security and operation may be processed.

3. Purposes

Data is used to receive and manage access requests, send invitations, create and manage accounts, display profiles and content according to privacy choices, enable interactions, messages, communities, events and opportunities, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain security, diagnose faults and improve the beta.

4. Legal bases

Processing required to provide the account and its features is based on performance of the accepted terms. Security, abuse prevention, diagnostics and service improvement may rely on legitimate interests. Where processing depends on consent, it will be requested specifically and may be withdrawn.

5. Visibility and other users

Data and content visible to other people depend on the settings of the profile, post, community, event or opportunity. Private messages are intended for conversation participants. Authorised administrators may access information where necessary for support, security or moderation.

6. Providers and transfers

Technical providers may be used for hosting, security, email or interface resources. They receive only the data required for the service. Where processing takes place outside the European Economic Area, the applicable safeguards will be assessed.

7. Retention

Access request data may be retained during the beta and for a reasonable period to manage invitations, prevent duplicate requests and understand demand. Account data is retained while the account is active and for the period required to complete requests, comply with obligations, prevent fraud or defend legal rights. Deleted content may remain temporarily in backups until they are rotated.

8. Cookies and sessions

The platform uses a strictly necessary session cookie for authentication, security and continuity of navigation. The beta does not use advertising cookies.

9. Rights

Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where applicable. They may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

10. Security

Technical and organisational measures appropriate to the beta are applied, including hashed passwords, secure sessions, access controls, request validation, activity logs and technical diagnostics. No system connected to the Internet can eliminate all risk.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated as the platform evolves. Material changes will be presented within the account and may require renewed acknowledgement.
